Follow the Inntal motorway (A12). Leave the motorway at the Zillertal exit. Follow the B169 (A-road) to Mayrhofen, then take the Tuxer Landesstrasse (B-road) in the direction of Hintertux. (Take the Zillertal motorway exit and continue in the direction of Hintertux for approx. 48 km until you reach the district of Lanersbach.) The Tuxer Landesstrasse between Mayrhofen and Hintertux (Lanersbach) is drivable all the year round.
Snow chains are required in icy and snowy conditions!

Take the train to Jenbach in Tyrol. From Jenbach station, continue on the local train (Zillertalbahn) or take a bus to Mayrhofen.
From there you can take the Postbus, which runs between Mayrhofen and Hintertux.
